Helios Kliniken Schwerin

The Helios Hospital Schwerin is a tertiary care institution and teaching hospital of the University of Rostock. Guided by its mission to provide state-of-the-art medicine and a safe place to recover, the 34 medical departments take care of 55.000 patients per year.

The physicians, nurses and therapists, represent virtually every specialty and most sub-specialities in the medical field, including orthopedics and spine surgery. Accordingly the hospital offers highly specialized treatment in a variety of medical disciplines.

Special emphasis, however, is put on a closely interconnected interdisciplinary cooperation between medical departments thus ensuring that all patients receive the best treatment possible.
