Dr Abhra Chandra Chowdhury completed his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College. Following MBBS, he completed DNB Medicine from the prestigious institute Christian Medical College, Vellore.After obtaining a post graduation in medicine, he spent one year at the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at CMC Vellore under the supervision of Prof. Debasish Danda.Subsequently, he got selected for DM Rheumatology course at one of the most premier institutes of the country - Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. There he had the opportunity to work under Prof Ramnath Misra and Prof Amita Aggarwal who have trained some of the best rheumatologists in the country.During his years at CMC Vellore and SGPGIMS Lucknow, he gained vast experience in the management of rheumatic diseases. He has been trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound as well as MRI.
