Dr Adrian Shi is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is currently a Consultant in the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and the Chairperson of the Medication Safety Committee.
Dr Shi received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2011. He has an outstanding academic record, having won several awards including, inter alia, placement on the Dean's List, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Book Prize and the NUS Alumni Bursary Awards. Dr Shi was awarded a scholarship with NDCS and went on to pursue advanced specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, receiving his Master of Dental Surgery from NUS in 2017. He was also admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the same year.
Dr Shi is concurrently a clinical teacher with NUS Faculty of Dentistry and a clinical instructor with SingHealth Duke-NUS Oral Health Academic Clinical Programme, Duke-NUS Medical School. His professional interests include oral surgery, dental implants and jaw surgery. Dr Shi has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. He has an approachable personality and received the Singapore Health Quality Service Silver Award in 2020 and OneCGHCares Award in 2021.
