• Dr. Ravi Kumar Aluri is the Chief Interventional Cardiologist at KIMS Hospital with more than 22 years of experience.
• He has accumulated immense expertise in cardiac care and coronary interventions during his decade-long career in interventional cardiology.
• He previously worked as an assistant professor in NIMS and is now recognized as one of the senior transradial interventional cardiologists in the city.
• Dr. Aluri has performed over 10,000 Coronary procedures, with more than 7,500 transradial/ulnar procedures.
• He completed his M.B.B.S from Andhra Medical College, Vishakapatnam, India in May’1992 and MD (Internal Medicine) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, in July’1997.
• Later, he pursued D.M (Cardiology) from Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, in January 2002.

• He has performed over 4,000 Coronary Angioplasties, including complex cases like Bifurcation Lesions, Ostial Lesions, LMCA Lesions, and CTOs.
• He has a vast experience of doing more than 300 Primary Angioplasties.
• Independently performed over 3,500 Angioplasties with Stenting through the Trans Radial route.
• Over 9,000 diagnostic Cath procedures conducted, with more than 90% through the Trans Radial route.
• He is proficient in Percutaneous Balloon Mitral Valvotomy, Pace Maker implantations (Single & Dual chamber), and Pulmonary Valvotomy Procedures.
• He is associated with teaching programs for Post Graduate Residents & Fellows in Cardiology for the last 12 years.
