Dr. Rajiv Sharma

• Dr. Rajiv Sharma serves as the Head of Interventional Radiology at Artemis Hospitals in Gurugram.
• Dr. Sharma holds a diverse set of qualifications, including MBBS, MD, and DNB (Radio-diagnosis).
• With over 23 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology, he has worked at esteemed institutions such as Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, and currently at Artemis Hospital in Gurugram.
• Dr. Sharma completed his MD (Radiodiagnosis) from Shrimati N.H.L. Medical College, Ahmedabad, and DNB (Radiology) from the National Board of Examination.
• At Artemis, he leads the sub-department of interventional radiology, overseeing various procedures, including vascular, hepato-biliary, and tumor embolization. He also conducts Ultrasound and CT Guided Biopsies, including prostate and breast biopsies. Additionally, he has experience in VABB Assisted, Ultrasound, and MRI Guided Biopsies.
• Dr. Sharma serves as a DNB teaching faculty, supervising several DNB thesis programs, and runs a Fellowship program in interventional Radiology.
