Dr Kok Choong Seng is Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon @ PHKL. He is practicing at the Spine and Joint Centre @ PHKL. He is specialised in treatment of sports injuries of the knee. These include ligament reconstructions and meniscus repairs and resection. He also provides stem cells treatment in selected patients.
Dr Kok graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1987. After completing his housemanship at Hospital Taiping, he joined the Malaysian Armed Forces. In 1991, he went to University Malaya (UM) to pursue his post-graduate training in orthopaedics. Upon his post-graduate training completion in 1995, he went back to serve the Armed Forces. He had serve in various units of the Army, Air Force and Navy; including a stint with the United Nations peace-keeping force in Bosnia-Herzegovina. During his service in the Armed Forces, Dr Kok gained extensive experience with the treatment of sports injuries of the knee.
In 2002 Dr Kok completed his military service at the Lumut Armed Forces Hospital and went into private practice at Pantai Klang Specialist Medical Centre.
